There is also a lot of disagreement about the subjects. Is such talk a little inappropriate?

Sometimes, for the reasons you say.

Consider the fact that any scenario except the legal one requires that society becoming idealic in nature.

Hardly so.

What is perceived as radical and impossible change is not without precedents in history.

It is just the current state of society and its concepts of morality that make it sound radical and impossible.

That is completely un-realistic at this point in time. Maybe someday, we can only imagine...so are we fantasizing about this?

As I have stated before, I do not expect to see the change I want to bring about.

That has no bearing on the strength of my wish to bring it about, the zeal with which I seek it, or my certainty that it will happen.

What would happen if I or someone else began writing an (fictional) account of illegal relations? Isn't that cutting the line a little too close with rule #1 and #6 ??

You might have read the Seven Rules, but you didn't read the FAQ, did you??

Could one do the same thing under the guise of 'hypothetic situations' and simply ask questions aimed at discussion?

No. The FAQ quite tells the story.

Like "What kind of girl would be ready for penetration, and how old would she be? Hypothetically what kind of situation would the relationship have to have progressed to before sex entered the fray?" Basically asking for a description of the girl one wants to have sex with and the terms of the relationship.

There are ways to do that without breaking the rules on fiction.

Wording is very important in this context.
