I do have to say that midnite, you were out of line there. Whether Ron is truthful about his abuse or not, it should be respected and not made light of. Ron you have every right to be angry with him.

I appreciate your coming here to try to understand, however the truth is that you never really tried to understand. What I see is that you came here to listen to what you wanted to hear and ignored everything else. However, you did not use the word 'disease' once in this post and actually used 'orientation' twice, so maybe I am wrong.

We don't need your strong criticism; we see it everyday. We know what the general consensus is. On the same note we CAN'T change what we are or what we feel. I don't ever want to hurt anyone, but I also want to love and be loved; it's a tragedy that in my life the two cannot co-exist on a romantic level. It's another tragedy that if anyone knew my thoughts of caring and love, or more specifically what they are towards, that I would be outcast and shunned.

And you suggest we come out of the toybox? I think committing suicide would be less painful, but they would both reach the same end effect!

I can appreciate you will never agree to child-adult intercourse. That's not the issue. I don't aim for that, I just want to be me; being along I can live with, but hiding who I am on top of that is too much.

Jack is one man. You are surrounding yourself in nothing but hate for him. Regardless of what he has done, this seems silly. If you hate him so much, why do you pursue him?? Whatever you think he has done, can you not grant forgiveness and move on? After all we are all only people. I can think of the worst thing anyone has ever done to me, and I can let it go, it was not hard and hating that person came so easy, but in the end I realized I was only hurting myself by being so angry and hateful..

Anyway....you also talk about disrespect. You have thrown a lot of that around. Using words like disease and horrific are a good example. Instead of keeping an open mind and trying to really understand you condemn us for *what* we are. It is no different than using words like nigger or faggot. You seem to speak in a way that denotes an air of superiority over us, and that is annoying, at the least. So if you don't like being disrespected, you should always show respect for others.

However, none of this should warrant an attempt at humour through personal references on such a horrific event in your past.
