As you have already stated, neither your arch nemesis Jack(in your opinion at least), nor the boys who abused you and your sister were pedophiles. You've seen the statistics by the FBI and other law enforcement as well as civilian researchers that estimates that only 10% of child sex offenders are pedophiles. So, why all the focus on people who are irrelevant to your case as well as the vast majority of child abuse cases?. It seems that you would be better off focusing in on the man who abused you first and foremost, and then focusing on people who actually abuse children. Instead, you're vilifying an entire group of people for no reason other than their sexual orientation.

I remember watching episodes of To Catch a Predator where an entire city's police force was holed up outside the sting house waiting for the suspects to come out for their impromptu perpwalk on national TV. Yes, an entire police force focused on arresting people who mostly had no criminal histories, and the few who did were mostly for non sex related crimes. Their "victim" was an adult vigilante pretending to be a horny and willing teenager. The "victimizer" was often a man who was reluctant to actually show up for the meeting, but was entrapped by people who were well experienced at manipulating people like them.

Meanwhile, somewhere out there in that very same city was a real victim being abused by a real criminal, far away from the lights and the cameras. If that child were to tell someone about their abuse, would he or she be believed? Would the person even care?. Maybe a social worker would show up to investigate, but the DA would find "insufficient evidence" to prosecute. After all, 50 "predators" were arrested last night, and those cases weren't going to prosecute themselves, were they?. You can't work every case that's out there, Remember, we have "priorities".

Ron, can you not see what's really going on in this society?. Can you not see how the sensationalized coverage of "predators" and "pedophiles" fails to actually protect children from abuse. Your irrational hatred of our orientation is misguided, and will not help prevent children from being abused. The vast majority of child abuse is non sexual, and the vast majority of even sexual abuse is not committed by pedophiles. Therefore, pedophilia is irrelevant to child abuse.
