I don't know you so I can't say I hate you on a personal level! Yes, I do hate pedophilia and fro what it stand for; however I (like many) may have already befriended a pedophile without knowledge.

Scenario: Let's say that I have a good friend of over 25 year and our friendship is strong. One day he comes to me and tells me that he is attracted to prepubescent children. Keep in mind that we have a strong relationship and my family knows his family etc. In addition, he has assured me that he has NEVER touched a child in inappropriately. Due to our long friendship, I believe his words. What do I do now? I'm against pedophilia; however I must now make a decision that may alter my life forever.
