"NOT Why I'm not interested in Child Models"
Because you get to contradicting the wrong reasons for not being interested, or being outright against.
As in every commercial venture, there can be some kind of exploitation. As in every business that has children in it in our culture, parents themselves are usually to blame, either directly (in enrolling them) or through negligence of the child's own concerns (even if the child at first wanted it as well or even badder).
Obviously enough, as in everything, it need not be exploitation to be done well.
There is an amazing range of child modelling around. Antis will usually tend to point to nude modelling or to sexy poses or to scanty clothing; and will usually also profit from the fact many sites are based outside the Anglosphere...
But the range is wide enough. With the nude, there are the clothed - and even the nude need not be sexually explicit (although I do get a feeling that to many Nons, pics of naked children might in and of themselves *feel* like they are sexually explicit, basically because of an extra-orientational lack of understanding). With the "sexy" poses, there are many other poses that are not "intentionally" sexy, but just common poses. And with the scanty clothing, like swimsuits and thongs, or garments imitating adult "sexy" clothing, there are also many pics where the girls aren't wearing anything you wouldn't witness in your common life. There's even sites where school uniforms play a prominent role :p
What I would question there, if anything, is less the content itself and probably more the attitude of the beholders. No matter what type are your fave pics, or who your fave models are, you have to remember what you just said. You are looking at a fantasy. Who knows exactly whose?? Might be the girl's fantasy; might be the photographer's, the webmaster's, maybe there's a screenplay guy, or maybe they receive letters from the audience... But still, it's all a fantasy.
By the end of the day, you must remember that, no matter how glad the girl is to have her pic taken and uploaded, or how well cared for the site is, or how good the photographer is; there is a girl there in front of the camera with not just a pretty face and a sexy body, but a whole mind and heart and soul of her own. And you're only looking at the photo session. But she is alive 24/7. And I would be worried if and when people start fetishising her based on her photo session, but ONLY then.
Still, while I've never been a customer of any child model paysite, I quite like them and wish they were growing rather than receding. Because, with all their possible or real flaws, they are still out there showing the world the beauty of little and teen girls. That's nothing to be ashamed of.
