Yesh, ok, I admit that I am jealous too.

But it goes beyond that.

I can be jealous of the boyfriend of a great girl; but if I see that he himself is a great boyfriend, I can be happy for them.

I am not happy because I don't think she has chosen such a boyfriend.

And if it ever came to that, yes I'd also be happy to let her borrow my shoulder.

But both are equally unlikely and their shared impossibility equally frustrating...
