actually, i used to notice when i was a punk that a guy would wear a mohawk or braces or docs as if they all part of a uniform, while women would take the elements and create their own interpretation, adding a tattoo or pierced body part as required to complete the look. ...not to be too sexist about it, because mileage varies with any generalization.

metrosexuals are really just gay men who sleep with women, so you know, they probably have a thing for outfits anyway... :P
