We don't need to explain ourselves to you. To begin with, neither of those men sound like true pedophiles to me. Research has shown us that 90% of sexual assaults against children are not committed by pedophiles(Agent Lanning, FBI). Situational offenders are responsible for the vast majority of these atrocities, and it turns the stomach of true pedophiles just as much as it does yours and most "normal" people. Many of us have young girls who we care about, whether they are our daughters, nieces, cousins, sisters, friends of the family, friends of ours, our students, etc. We would do anything, including giving up our own lives, to protect them from such horrible things.

So I don't know what you want from us. People see that black people commit more crimes than whites, and yet they don't hold that against the vast majority of black people who are decent people. So why is it that the crimes of "pedophiles"(90% of which is actually committed by situational offenders mistaken for pedophiles)are held against those of us who are decent people?. As someone who happens to be both black and a pedophile, this has never made sense to me at all. Why do I get a free pass for being black, while being simultaneously condemned for being a pedophile. If anything, pedophiles deserve more of a break, considering that 90% of the crimes attributed to us are actually committed by non pedophiles while 100% of crimes committed by blacks, are actually committed by blacks.

So I make no apologies for being black or for being a pedophile. If you were somehow victimized by a member of either of these groups than I feel sorry for you, but it's not my fault nor the fault of most blacks or pedophiles. We owe you no apologies, no explanations, nothing. All we can do is be ourselves, try our best, and try to get you to finally see the real truth. Racism has been debunked for the most part, but pedophile phobia is still alive and well. That type of ignorance just keeps all of us down.
