The two men you describe sound creepy at best. In the second case, when you were 12, it sounds like the man was typically heterosexual in orientation. For biological purposes, 12 years old is an adult, and most men are attracted to 12 year olds (whether they admit it or not) - but the fact that he saw you as an alternative to a hooker pretty much confirms it. 12 is at the upper end of a pedophile's range (no offense to our resident hebephiles, who like adolescent girls more than average).

As for the first man - just creepy. Sure, I see some beautiful girls that I'd like to take with me to the beach, but I couldn't bear to frighten them like that. ::shudder:: As others will point out, it is even questionable whether that man was really attracted to girls. The evidence is strong that most sexual crimes against children (greater than 90%) are committed by people who are not pedophiles.

You say you can't understand why anyone would be sexually attracted to a little girl? Well, what of it? I can't understand why anyone would be sexually attracted to the average man - so rough and unhygienic and obstinate. Yet, most women, some men, and of course many girls do like men. Well, if that's what floats their boats. . . .

As for whether kids understand sex or not - I certainly recall lots of talk about it among the kids in kindergarten and first grade. Sure, we got some things wrong because adults wouldn't tell us the details, and shamed us for being interested, but we were all interested to various degrees.

That said, children may see sexuality in a different way from most adults - and so do many pedophiles. I'm not really interested in penetrative sex with a young girl, at least not until she is approaching menarche, and even then it's not all that important. Like you say, it could hurt her, and I'm not into anything that would hurt a girl. But there are other things that would be nice: cuddling and petting, of course, but just talking is nice too. Nothing beats a smiling or giggling girl, by whatever means necessary.

If that's what you mean - well, physically I like their softness and small size (the perfect size for a hug), emotionally I like that they tend to be open, gentle, caring, friendly, and curious - but mostly, it's probably pheromones. Little girls are what I'm wired for.

"Molests" is, correctly speaking, a synonym for "bother". And if someone - pedophile or not - is bothering children, that is incorrect behavior. Sex and nude pics depend very much on the contexts of culture and the particular child. A child in a remote tribe where no one has ever worn clothing would probably not be concerned about nude pics - certainly, not in the sense that a child raised in a culture with a nudity taboo would be concerned. Likewise for a child in a community where sexuality was not taboo. On the other hand, we live in the culture we live in, and anything that is likely to bother a child or create serious problems for a child would be incorrect behavior. (I guess you could call that the "no-no line".) Thus, it depends on several factors, cultural, legal, and individual. Jail is appropriate for some offences.

I'm attracted to a minority of women, especially women with girlish traits (physical and/or emotional) but mostly it's just LGs.


Naturally, human beings are human beings. I speak only for myself, though I know some of these feelings are common (not universal) among peds. Some pedophiles will be psychopathic, just as some heterosexuals, homosexuals, bisexuals and asexuals are psychopathic.
