In Oscar Wilde's day Homosexuality was "the Love that dare not speak its name." Homosexuals were viewed as criminal and mentally ill. Homosexual acts by legal definition could not be consented to. And it was assumed that no one was born Homosexual.

The net result; a lot of lies and false equations could be easily spread about the "normalcy" of Homosexuality, about sexual desire, about the nature of consent and about how Homosexuals "recruit" young boys and girls in order to create the next generation of "perverts."

Today we look back with wonderment that someone should be able to come between two lovers who want to be together. That the criminalization of their love should lead to the assumption that love of "their kind" is practiced only by criminals. Or that prison rape should be brought up again and again as demonstrative of how Homosexuals are really just violent predators.

The human rights establishment of the day was all about the emancipation of negroes and the extension of Women's suffrage. But the surest way to try to derail any argument about Women standing up for themselves was to paint all suffragettes as Lesbian provocateurs.

All these lies, false accusations and half-truths served to conceal the commonness of Homosexuality. These are your friends, your neighbors and your siblings. This love which is called an "abberation" and a "perversion of nature" has been practiced throughout time and and by the best and brightest of human civilizations.

When the layers of deception are peeled back, and the predatory Heterosexuals who rape their own gender to assert power-over are taken away; what you have left are the great writers, artists, political thinkers and humanitarians. Its true that Homosexuals are a pretty random 5% of the population, and aren't all Caravaggios, Turings and Pasolini's. But if they'd all been eradicated in the Reading Gaols and the crematoria of Auschwitz; what remains would hardly pass for a civilization.

All of what I've said can be verified by taking a Gay Studies course at your local Junior College.

Unfortunately there is still a "Love that dare not speak its name." Every demonization and disparagement which was revealed as a lie when applied to Homosexuality has moved on to its new acceptable target. You'll have to dig deeper to find out the truths. There are no Pedophile-studies courses taught on campus. There is no Pedophile-students union. The civil-libertarians are all to willing to step-aside as the Pogroms target us. And no one dares speak too loudly about our contributions to the enterprise of civilization.

They're scared. Scared of desire, scared of love and scared of sexuality. They always have been. Maybe they always will be. It takes courage to stand up in the face of anger and fear. Some of us have no choice but to stand. And we thank God for the few who, while not made by nature like us, are willing to stand beside us.

I'm sorry that I'm not answering your questions directly. I usually do. But it seems to me that your questions are inextricably tied to false assumptions about our nature. All the information needed to liberate your mind is out there. But only you can really do that for yourself.
