most of us had a significant (positive) relationship as a child with either a young girl, or with an adult; reflecting on that throughout adolescence/adulthood helped us tolerate thoughts of a child/adult romantic relationship. did that alone make us girl lovers? probably not.

Interesting point. Maybe that didn't make you a CL but it sure helped you to look at it differently. I know the general media and my bad experiences left me with a very biased point of view.
