You presented the point that I was trying to get across very well. At many times during my time spent in the MAA community I've tried to use my unique experience as both a racial and sexual minority to explain the similarities between anti pedophile prejudice in the modern era and racial prejudice in the past. I've tried to bring up the logical question of why if it's wrong to judge me as a African-American individual based on the bad behavior of a minority of people who share my heritage, then why is it acceptable to judge me as a pedophile based on the bad behavior of a minority of people who share my sexual orientation. It's something that most people, regardless of their race, seldom think about. But, I think that it is a very relevant question for us to ask ourselves considering the way things are going these days.
