Certainly he made major mistakes, but I would note that (1) it is pretty clear that he never actually intended to out anyone, (2) that he initially acted in good faith with the charity contributions, and only kept the money when the so-called charity returned the money and he felt threatened by third parties (he also eventually paid it back), and (3) that Lindsay had other reasons for being disappointed with the community.

As for who here I respect, Lindsay would be at the front of the list - but there are many, many good people here.
