...but more to the point, just because the music festival scene is heavily influenced by psychedelics, and secondarily empathogens and pharmacologically-clean disassociatives, does not neccisarily mean that anyone who listens to music must be chemically unconscious all the time. It's a non sequiteur. Sort of right up there with "the actions involved in rape are sexually influenced, therefore all sex is rape" in terms of its utter nonsensicality, honestly...

...not that you shouldn't give prosocial drugs less hatred. They're partly responsible for the culture which surrounds them, which by its underlying values is slightly less likely to kill people for no reason.
