Fun with amplifiers :) (GM)

On the way to the rehearsal studio for practice with my band,
I met eight-year-old Iris
(a friend I only got to know not three months ago--
she seems to love me dearly,
and I'm not quite sure what I've done to deserve this...
anyway, that's a post for another day)
and she wanted to tag along.

We got to the studio, and I let her down off my shoulders
She sat on top of the aging Marshall amplifier,
her legs astraddle one corner and barely reaching halfway to the floor,
and watched me fiddle with the bass guitar.

I'd just gotten the lowest string back in tune when I heard her giggle.
'That tickles,' she grinned happily at me.

I sat down beside her and plucked out a loud low E,
and the whole amp vibrated--
sure enough, it tickled :)
