There is no presidential candidate who would have (could have) just allowed a pedo to swoon over his kids without demanding the page be removed. As far as I know, Lindsay took it down voluntarily and there was no legal action.

Um, every other candidate did not threaten legal action. Perhaps Lindsay did not swoon over their daughters/granddaughters as much as he did Obama's, but swoon he did (and who can blame him? a lot of cuties).

Possibly those other candidates understood the concept of freedom of speech. It is deeply disturbing that Obama, or someone working for his campaign, felt that threatening legal action to suppress legal speech is acceptable.

Right now I am hearing everywhere excitement about the prospect of Obama imitating the mistakes of FDR, and turning a natural, short recession into a long depression to counterbalance the long boom we just recently finished. How quickly we forget lessons learned.
