I have not seen it yet. I did notice that Elle Fanning plays the main female character as a child, which doesn't change whether I watch it or not. I swear. =P No, really, it doesn't. It sounded interested to me.

I have heard that it's a very slow and boring movie. But I've heard that said of plenty of movies that I enjoy very much.

As for how he looks when he's older. From what I've seen, he's born at baby size, and continues to grow to a mature size. The only thing that gets "younger" about him is the cells/tissue of his body, basically. So I imagine he'd be adult size, but skin as soft as a baby. Or something like that.

I'm guessing both characters are about the same age.

This movie really piqued my interest. I plan to see it.
