i too own that movie on DVD. i also own an old SEVENTEEN magazine with her on the cover and anther mag with her doing photoshoot.
Omg, I would love to have those mags! Katherine Heigl is so awesome!!
about the last 'point' i made, i think it was #3...i dont want say much about it because it may hint to what you may be thinking of as a possible ending...or maybe you havent gone there...but wow would that be a surprising twist in the story!! i'd be "holy shit, Batman!"!! :P sure. i'd like to bounce off this crazy thought i have about point #3, but maybe i'll PM you it at VOA...
I look forward to hearing any suggestions or ideas you may have. As I've already hinted, Scarlet Eagle is going to be very conflicted in the future.
now on to, um, point#4-that cliffhanger you left 5 at was the best ending per chapter yet! good work! now im at the edge of my seat biting my nails and going "oh no! theyre gonna break up my ULTRA-SOLAR couple! whats gonna happen?! how will they get out of this predicament this time?! crap is gonna rain on 'em!" :P
Simon and Alexa can't expect their relationship to remain a secret from everyone...but that is all I'm going to say right now.
point#5-SEAMUS TEFFLER. interesting charecter. will he be returning here and there? someone Simon can talk to every now and then? imagine if....he gets killed by a mob of angry citizens while simon is in his SOLARMAN guise...and he may not chose to protect Saemus for fear of looking like a pedo sympathizer...what a moral conundrum!
Seamus Fitzpatrick (Teffler is actually Solar Man's surname) will be turning up from time to time after Chapter 5, as he will be the pedo voice in the ongoing saga. And like all pedos, he is going to be on the shit list of various vigilante groups. It's quite possible that Solar Man will have difficulty hiding his loyalties in the future.
point#6-" Then we could stop at the Menaheim Art Theater since that night they are having a special showing of Sundays and Cybele I know that is one of your all time fave films."
cool! the more exposure this movie gets(SUNDAYS AND CYBELE) the more demand there may be for it to be released on DVD. perhaps i should also take it as a "wink/nudge/hint" to me? :P
It was indeed intended as a wink/nudge/hint towards you :) I have made homages to many GChatters in the course of my chapters. You definitely deserved one. CatcherInTheRye also got a mention, though he probably hasn't noticed.
ok i think thats all of them. now please dont send EAGLE HAWK to break an arm or two for my critiquing :P
Eagle Hawk is a top notch crimefighter, but like everyone who consorts with the dark side of life on a regular basis he has a somewhat skewed attitude towards human nature. He believes that evil is everywhere in society, and as such he becomes vulnerable to scapegoating. And MAA's are a popular scapegoat in society right now. Also, his harsh attitude and his extremely high standards in performance causes him to look down on young people simply because it's popular for our present day society to perceive young people as inherently incompetent with defective brains. Eagle Hawk is not too good at rising above the popular ideology of society, and he has never been too thrilled with Youth Power. He tries to look over their shoulders as much as possible, and though he believes that heroes should start their training young he doesn't believe they should be in charge of their own activities but instead be under the strict supervision of adults. Scarlet Eagle loves him as a sort of father figure nevertheless, and she knows he means well in his own way, but his attitude is destructive to many people who need open-mindedness and an open heart. He's a hardcore vigilante who sees evil behind every tree. He greatly respects Solar Man and Amazonian, but he expects near-perfection from those he trusts. Solar Man is believed to be something close to perfect in terms of character by the general public and Eagle Hawk, but pedophilia and ephebophilia are currently thought of as major character flaws. And despite the fact that he has no super-powers, Eagle Hawk is one of the most dangerous men alive, and Solar Man doesn't like the idea of knocking heads with him on such an emotionally charged issue.
