Like Lazy Town, Yo Gabba Gabba is sui generis; unlike yet another Dora knockoff. I for one will be more attentive the next time the "Sleep" episode airs.
I wa going to mention this too, that not all programs on Nick are of the "home grown" variety like most of the stuff on Teen Nick and their specials. Producers of their one of their licensed shows may have William Shatner's number, for example, but that doesn't mean we should expect him to appear as an adult randomized character on Zoey 101.
I kind've got that point across, admittedly in a snarky way(this is a small pet peeve for me, the I didn't see it, you're making it up attitude- yes, me and Neut, who are on each other's ignore list, independently came up with this), with my references to Weezer and Biz Markie in my Ping.
I understand you can't believe everything you read on the internet, but many of the pages I found by googling last night are from official sources, such as SMOOSH's own site. I don't think they'd lie about something so easily disclaimed by Viacom. (And, yeah, Viacom are happy to do things like that...)
Hey, we can both check it out this Friday when its scheduled to be rebroadcast in North America :)
Well, make sure you have a spare VHS tape handy but, as for me, I've effectively abolished television from my life.
Fortunately I was able to catch the SMOOSH clip on youtube, from various loaders, before it was pulled.
Meh...I've gone on a tangent here, which I'm worried may read like a rant- trust me, it isn't. I love talking about SMOOSH and this YGG appearance has become something of an urban legend. A proven one at that...
I guess the important thing is Dissident can catch the episode for himself very soon if he cares to. :)
