I see what you're getting at here, Jack, but the thing is, if Xavier has something illegal on his hard drive, he should get busted for it. No matter how much he brown noses the LEO's the point is that he should not be considered above the law in any way. He should not be granted special privileges simply because he hunts down MAA's and flatters the police and gay community with pro comments regarding them on his site. The fact that the Peej people pose with so many cops for pics makes it clear that they are collecting brownie points at the expense of an entire minority group. Is it any wonder that all minority groups have traditionally disliked the cops at various points in history? In the future, the cops are certainly not going to look good for cozying up to a hate group and giving them extra-legal privileges for stalking members of a minority group who do not break and the law and for entrapping pathetic people in chat rooms into committing crimes.

Xavier is not a police officer and as such he should have no legal right to have CP in his possession. Journalists who are researching the subject have a far greater right to have CP in their possession than some hate-infested vigilante, IMO. If the police are ignoring blatant illegality on his part then they are sending the message that it's possible to be above the law as long as you brown nose people in authority.

And we all know that Xavier is not a true libertarian. He simply says that just to make it appear that he respects everyone in society except those who it's currently politically correct to hate. Real libertarians are against the police intruding in our personal lives except in the most extreme circumstances and many libertarians are uncomfortable with the thought of people being put in jail simply because they look at pics. Xavier is no ally of the youth liberation movement and all young people who are seeking their civil rights would hardly be happy to know that Xavier only considers people 18 and over as worthy of having their rights.
