I love reading stories like this, stories that show we are not monsters. We are caring and deeply feeling human beings who love and care about girls. You did not help this girl because of selfish motivations, as our enemies often say we do. You helped her because you did not want to see a little girl get hurt. You got nothing out of it except the satisfaction of knowing she was not harmed because of you.

You're a good person, and this girl was Lucky that a GL was close by to save her from serious harm. I am sorry to read how depressed you've been, but this incident should show what you really have inside you, and that your Girl Love is something to be proud of.
