If this girl happened to have a parent, uncle, or aunt present somewhere in the mall with her, and were thus aware that I didn't know her, and saw me admiring her and then talking to her, there is a chance that they would get in my face and cause a major scene. I'm not saying how likely that is, but I didn't need the grief.
