A Nice GM

I had a nice GM on Sunday and just needed to share it with people who would understand.

I was invited to watch the Pro Bowl with some friends. They have a beautiful 11 yo girl named "Betty". She has a little friend that is younger than her, about 8 I think, named "Abby" whom I have only been around on a few occasions, but am chummy with.

After the game was over, some of us adults went to the game room to shoot some darts. The girls were down there playing some video game on the TV. While we were playing, the girls decided to root for one person or the other to win the dart game. Of course Betty rooted for her dad, but Abby piped up and said "I'm rooting for A_____". Needless to say, this gave me a warm feeling inside *SMILE*. Each time I'd get a good score, it was met with a "Yeeeeeah" from Abby, as well as an "Awwwww" if I missed the board or couldn't hit what I was shooting for.

Someone started teasing Betty about having a boyfriend, which of course she denies having. We were all giving her a hard time, just teasing with her..."Is your boyfriends name George...Sam... Pete"...Crap like that. All of a sudden Abby says "I have a boyfriend", with a little giggle in her voice. I looked at her and said "Oh you do huh?" and she replied "Uh huh". So I asked "What's your boyfriends name?" in a teasing fashion. She points at me and says "You're my boyfriend" and giggled again. Well, I don't think I have to say how big the smile was on my face as I said "Oh I am huh?", which was met with "Yep". So I told her "Okay, I'll be you're boyfriend" in a joking manner (the whole time thinking to myself "Sweetheart, if you only knew"). With that, the attention was turned back to the dart game and it was all left at that. Just a cute little moment in a little girls and a GL's life.
