3 cute girls, no 2, no 3 ... ( a GM )

And one of the tolls of stress is impaired memory. Not only can I barely keep track of all my duties; I can hardly remember the sweeties who walk into my workplace.
But in the recent past there were a few.
One day had a couple of memorable GoMs. On my way to work a family was bolting across the crosswalk before the light changed. ( I knew I wouldn't make it, so I was waiting for the next turn.) A couple of blonde sisters ( 8 and 5 ) looked up just in time to avoid crashing into me. The older one had a yellow T-shirt which was opaque and yet sheer enough that I could make out her upper torso structure underneath.
Later the same day a pair of sisters was getting off an elevator I was getting into. They were dusky beauties of indeterminate ethnicity ( maybe hispanic or thai, or some combo thereof ) with brown eyes and black hair. The eldest ( approx 10 ) had full lips and a cute snub nose. As soon as I was alone in the elevator I succumbed to a long sigh of delight.
But my GM was more recent. A red-haired mother comes in with three blonde daughters. The little one ( maybe 6 ) has a yellow sun dress baring her shoulders and upper chest. She had neck-length bobbed hair.
The other two are wearing identical white dresses with faux pearl chokers and long wavy blonde hair. They also have full lips and broad noses ( like younger versions of Sophie Stuckey from The Dark.) They appear to be 11.
And although one is slightly taller, I ask, "Are they twins?"
Mom, "Yes."
Dante, "Identical?"
Mom, "Yes."
Dante, "I am too."
Mom; gets girls attention, "He's a twin too."
After explaining that my brother and I haven't been mistaken for each other since High School, I ask, "Who is older?"
Slightly smaller twin says, "Me."
Dante, "By how many minutes?"
Mom whispers in girls ear, who replies, "47 minutes."
Dante, "I'm 9 minutes older. I was an only child for 9 minutes."
I then mention that since there are no other kids that "Dante and his twin are an only child."
I say that being a twin is fun.
Mom says on behalf of the girls, "Its pretty fun, isn't it?"
Perhaps in retrospect I should have given their kid sis some attention too. C'est la vie.
But twins really come out of their shell ( at ALL ages ) when they realize that you have insights on what its like to be a member of their secret fraternity.
( Awaits a meeting with the Oreo Triplets :)
