More than just a GM

I have apparently been officially adopted by the most beautiful 9yr little girl I have ever known. I still can't believe it! Her name is B.. and she goes to an Auction with her Grandmother that I attend every Thursday night. She is an energetic,highly intellegent,articulate,gifted child with as perfect a little body as God ever gave a little girl. I was very flattered when some of my friends at the auction said my daughter looks just like me. I felt like going with the flow--but I admitted she was my friends daughter(Grandma just became my best friend).

I met B... a couple of weeks ago at the same auction and struck up a conversation with her(naturally) and she was so impressed that she was looking for me last night and spent the rest of the night with me asking a million questions about all the items for sale. She asked me to help her find a Father's Day present for her Dad and we narrowed down some choices and finally was able to buy a couple of things she was sure her Dad would like. If I could I would spoil this little Princess with a million gifts--but I made it clear to her I am far from rich, so choose wisely the items I will buy for you.

I spoke with her Grandmother about B...and she told me her School says she has ADD and they want to put her on Ritalin--and I said hell no --Teachers like to sedate the active ones to make them more passive so there job will be easier--I told her B...has superior intellegence and just needs a different way of teaching--she is probably bored out of her mind and needs a more active way of learning--well anyway--I just thought you all might like to know that "all things come to those who wait"--I am hopeful this may become a safe, long term relationship--I would love to some day photograph her to capture her energy,spirit,beauty!!
