This is my first ever post on GC but I’ve been lurking for a loooong time. Those of you who hang out at VoA will already know me from there, for everyone else... greetings!

I’ve always been content to just lurk around here, but I’m coming out of “hiding” because, well, I miss VoA really, and I had a great GM today that I really wanted to share. I’m one of those very lucky GLrs who has a very special ligi in my life who I get to see on a semi-regular basis, but if I started writing GMs about her they’d be pages long and I don’t want to make people too jealous hehe :P

I hardly ever get the opportunity to meet new ligis, but I can’t complain because I have it so great being able to spend so much time with my ex’s daughter. The thing is, when I do meet a new cutie I get really excited and want to tell everybody about it.

Last night I went to a party at a friend of a friend’s and met a bunch of new people. It was a “grown-ups” party, pretty much all of us in our 20’s and 30’s, mostly women... (don’t fall asleep on me... I’ll get to the cutie soon!). It was a fun night, plenty of drunken antics and hilarity. I was pretty relaxed, and got talking to some of the people I hadn’t met before and got on with them pretty well.

I’ve found that since accepting my pedoness, I’m not so nervous or shy around women because I don’t feel like there’s pressure to try to get them to like me. Before, I would try too hard to impress them but it was forced and predictably, got me no-where. Now, I’ve accepted that I’m really not interested in trying to form a romantic attachment with my peers, or get them into my bed, so I find that I can actually talk to them. If they don’t like me, it’s no big loss, in my mind I already have a girlfriend (even if she is only a child). Anyone else find they’re like this?

What’s funny is that since I started to think this way, I keep getting hit on! I usually respond with a bit of flirting, without leading them on too much, but I’ve had to say to someone that I’m not interested in one-night-stands... I’m very much the relationship type of guy. So hopefully I’m not giving out the impression that I’m not interested in women.

Anyway... today a bunch of us met up for lunch and one of the women I met last night had brought her daughter along too... and wow, talk about a great surprise!

She’s only around 18 months, so probably too young for most of you guys, but believe me... she was sooo cute. Her blonde hair was quite long for her age, and she had a really adorable pink ribbon tied on one side of her head to keep her fringe out of her eyes. She was very quiet and nervous to begin with because there were lots of new people for her to take in, and there was a lot of loud talk and laughter as people were reminded of some of the embarrassing stuff that they’d done the night before. I turned my CreasyBear charm up to max, gave her lots of smiles and tried my best to put her at ease.

I wasn’t immediately successful, but she was interested in me as I was the only one really paying her much attention. When we sat at our table to eat, I sat opposite her so that we could see each other easily. I didn’t just keep staring at her because I didn’t want her to get nervous, and I kept involved in the conversation with the adults around me so that they wouldn’t think I was paying her too much attention, but I did keep looking over to her and found her to be staring at me nearly all of the time.

Every time our eyes met, I gave her my best smiles and she very quickly warmed up to me and gave me shy little smiles in return before one of us would look away. After about ten minutes of giving each other the glad-eye, she started giving me her cutesy-face... she would scrunch up her nose and eyes and tip her head back a bit and give me a great big grin, usually still with food in her mouth. It was so funny and so cute! I started playing peek-a-boo with her around the paper bags on the table (yes, we were having burgers) and I finally got to see her real smile and hear her laugh. The best sound in the world! After that she was much happier and very chatty... mission accomplished!

It was a great lunch, the food was okay but the unexpected company of a gorgeous ligi was so much more satisfying!
