My God, that is beautiful!!!! She sounds wonderful Sancho. And You deserve every bit of it. You're so full of love and compassion. Thank you for that. I felt like I was there. I was envisioning it, like a dream.
And here's a little something for you now.
The other day, two neighborhood girls that occasionally come and chat with me, but always at least wave or say high when they see me, were passing by my car. I told them as they were getting nearer to it, that if they were bored, they could feel welcome to see how many fallen autumn leaves they could pile onto my car (the one girl is 10 and the other 11). I knew this was an offer they couldn't dare refuse. So boy oh boy did they get busy at it. It was a sunshiny day with slight overcast and slight breeze (leaves all around). The breeze just happened to be perfect to blow enough leaves off the car, without discouraging them to continue. In other words, their attempts to bury my car in leaves was not a "2 steps forward, three steps back", mission. It was more like 3 steps forward and 1 step back. Anyways the wind helped to prolong these girls working at my car. They were giggling all along and having lots of fun. They were also bending over lots, as you might guess. But that part of it, didn't actually do anything for me; probably since they were not the most attractive girls, and were fully covered in fall apparel. Now if they were in skirts, it might have been a bit more interesting. And, of course just when they thought they were doing good, I would say something like "I could still see my front and back windows". It was a nice time. And kids can't refuse the opportunity to bury a car in leaves, you know?. It lasted about ten minutes. The the older girl left, and shortly after, the 10 year old came and sat and chatted with me for another 10 or 15 minutes. This 10 year old is chunky and raggidy-ann-ish and not the brightest either. But she sure has a smile that lifts can can lift you up. Her Mom even knew that I invited her to cover my car, and she had no problem with it.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this little story. And thanks for sharing yours with me.
Hugs to you and A., if SM is cool with that. LoL
