A quick GM.

About an hour ago, maybe more, I decided I wanted to make a trek to 7-Eleven. I grabbed my old skateboard and cruised down through the park. I didn't fall or anything which I was half expecting due to a number of factors like, high speeds, darkness (because it's nighttime), a bulky leather jacket, and I haven't ridden at night in a while. Anyway, I got there fairly quickly because it's a Sunday night and the roads are empty and I cut through the church parking lot. I got a small cup of coffee (not all that hard to drink while riding a skateboard) and a pack of smokes. I was outside fiddling with my iPod headphones and a car pulled up. A man in a football jersey got out followed by his two daughters (I guess they were his daughters), one was about 5 and the other about 7 or 8. The older one was wearing sunglasses even though it was night, and was almost strutting. She put on a cute little pout, too. It was adorable. The younger one stared up at me as they walked in. I started to walk into the parking lot and felt compelled to turn around so I did and the two girls were looking back at me as well. I smiled at them and they both smiled back before I jumped on my board and started home. It was such a small fleeting encounter, but it made my night. I didn't even realize that I forgot to press play on my iPod so no music was coming through the speakers until about a quarter of the way home. "Police Truck" by the Dead Kennedys came on right as I passed one of those police SUVs, by the way, and I laughed.
So thats about the size of it. A small GM, but it made me happy nonetheless.
