Playing Hang Man with a Six Year Old

Somewhat funny thing that happened to me today. Well, sorta.

I was playing hang man with one of my girls. I'm not going to give you her real name but let's call her Rachel.

Keep in mind she's only six.

I was the one that had to guess the puzzle. I only had one letter left.

So this was the puzzle with the missing letter.

Rachel loves _ick

You see, it can only be one thing. I know I didn't teach her anything like that. I thought two things: maybe a kid at school taught her it, I know how some kids talk when there aren't any adults around, at least none that'll get them in trouble. The second thing I thought was maybe there was a small chance that there was a boy in her class named Dick and she had a crush on him.

Well it wasn't any of those things.

She simply didn't know how to spell.

What she was trying to spell was "pink."

I have to tell you I was somewhat relieved. A few people I know got a good idea about my attractions and I didn't want them looking at me funny, wondering if I might have done something.
