Sounds like maybe mom told her no, so she decided to take matters into her own hands. And yes, these days giving a kid cookies or candy is probably enough to earn a ride to the station and get fingerprinted and stuff. You say she asked you for the candy, then they ask her in front of mommy if that's true. She looks at mommy and says no, I didn't ask for candy. hehe. A child never lies you know;)
