Might the value of children, need to decrease in order for pedoism to be more accepted?

Nope. The opposite needs to happen. Here's the experiment you can use to confirm whether my assertion is accurate...

1. Go to another forum.

2.1 Find a list of posters with rabid, semipsychotic views on "pedofiles"
2.2 Look up their thoughts on corporal punishment and obedience.

3.1 Find a list of posters made uncomfortable by semipsychotic, incoherent declarations of random, ill-founded violence - say, towards "pedofiles."
3.2 Look up their thoughts on giving at least some respect to the input, wishes, feelings, and happiness of children in general.

Voila. "Values children" = "antiantipedo." "Does not value children" = "antipedo."

Of course... it might be helpful if we reduce the pressure to pretend to like children if one doesn't, which would prevent truly-fake proxy substitutes. Especially ones based in violence without any grounds or connection to any topic being the proxy; it fits into the pathology just a little too well anyway.
