'Lolita' is certainly in no way a pro-child love novel. Quite the opposite actually. There are some mainstream novels that take a more neutral view, and some anti novels which are more honest than most, but I can think of no mainstream novels that would be considered pro-child love. Even if someone had written one, I doubt there's a mainstream publisher anywhere that would publish it. The only way pro-child love novels would ever get published is if we had our own publishing house. The best you can hope for are those that approach the issue neutrally, novels like A. N. Wilson's 'Dream Children,' Gabriel Garcia Marquez's 'Of Love and Other Demons' and Brian Hall's 'The Saskiad,' for example. All of these are worth reading. There are also novels that deal with kids' budding sexuality in a non-exploitative way, such as Rikki Ducornet's 'Gazelle.' It's the best you're gonna get in this environment.
