Small GM today

Mine are all small :)

Anyway it was at work, and I noticed this eightish year old, dark hair, pink hooded sweatshirt. Sorry I suck at describing faces so just use your on imagination, it'll be fine :) She came in the store with her Mom and little brother.

So we block off the checkouts that aren't open with the racks of gum and chocolate bars, and I had to open a register. Just as I started moving the candy rack, the girl started walking up to it to get something. She stood and waited while I placed it correctly and she took off some gum.

Then this totally awkward interaction happened where I hesitated to take the gum because I didn't know if she was paying for it herself, or if her Mom was. And she hesitated in handing it over cause she wasn't sure if her Mom was actually coming to that checkout, as I had just opened. So she calls down to her "Moma! Moma! Theres' no line up here!" I thought "moma" was kinda unique, moreso than Mom or even some girls at that age still say mommy.

Anyway I got excited but unfortunately I guess her Mom had already started putting stuff up on another checkout further down, because the girl just took off away from me! haha I thought to myself "aaaaaaawwwwww :("

Anyway it was still a fun little interaction that brightened my day :)
