The definition of seduction you took from the dictionary was the same one that Scotty utilized earlier, and no place in that definition does it suggest that enticing someone with the use of ordinary persuasion--but no force or coercion--is in any way immoral or ignoble. Nowhere in that definition was force, coercion, or manipulation stated. I never said it was "noble" to seduce a younger person. I simply examined the definition of the word and tried to figure out why people believe it is indeed ignoble. I and many others came to the conclusion that those who believe it's wrong or ignoble are providing another example of emotionalism overcoming their reasoning faculties. Why don't I see the problem of my girlfriend wanting to seduce me? Am I somehow crazy for being flattered by the prospect of someone whom I am attracted to romantically wanting to seduce me? Accordingly, why would a child or teen who had strong feelings for a certain adult find the act of seduction to be any less flattering or any less wanted? I think it's totally silly to call something that in no way violates the principle of consent, in no way involves coercion, or in no way does something that the seducee doesn't want to be done to them, a form of sexual exploitation.

Do others agree with you and are just not saying so? Considering the pervasive misuse of the word "seduction," I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if that was indeed the case, but I like to think we have more rational people on this board than the opposite. Am I glad to be in the majority here? Well, it's good to be the majority in my views someplace in the world, because my pro-choice views certainly aren't the majority outside of these pink walls. And I'm certainly not in the majority here about other views of mine, including my Marxist leanings or the fact that I am Wiccan. Since I can deal with not being in the majority about many of my views outside of these pink walls--and even within them in regards to some things--I think you can handle not being in the majority of certain views here too.
