They've begun rewriting history; got a passport?

The Texas School Board has approved major changes to the schoolbooks which rewrite history and politicize education to a remarkable degree.

Christian activists have brought about changes which will teach the children that America is a "Christian nation"; completely overlooking the fact that of America's first four presidents- George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison, only Adams was a Christian; the others were Deists, as was Benjamin Franklin whose face appears on the hundred dollar bill (so far). Thomas Jefferson, who wrote the Freedom of religion clause in the first amendment, will no longer be mentioned.
