I've always found our discussions/arguments extremely interesting, kea. Diversity of opinion is what leads to the best ideas in the end.

I think its disingenuous to start talking of cults as a way of discounting your detractors, however. Just because someone has an identifiably different philosophy than you doesn't make them a deluded cult-member.

As I see it, IM doesn't need you to seduce little children. What he wants is recognition of the fact that children, especially older ones, might want to seduce or be seduced (not coerced), and that they should have that right. Celibacy is a valid personal choice, but should it be enforced by the threat of imprisonment?

As to why IM might not trust people who he sees as 'anti-choice'? If someone believes that its wrong for children to engage in intergenerational sexual activity, there is a good possibility that they could see a pro-choicer, even a celibate one, as a potential threat to children, and move to expose or attack him. I'm not saying that it is always a reasonable fear, and I certainly don't think its justified in regards to you, but it has been known to happen on this very board.
