Brave, but maybe stupid.

I say that with the utmost respect for you. I would never disclose that information unless I was absolutely sure that the person would: a) Not hate me for what I am b) Not tell anyone else (say other family members or the police) c) Not judge or interfere with me in future pedophilic relationships.

I have a personal rule about making any big changes in my life. I have to consider that change for a substantial period of time (two weeks to a month) without wavering in my desire to do it. If I still feel like its a good idea at the end of that period, I will go ahead and make the change. This rule came about because I have made a lot of rash and stupid decisions in the heat of the moment, and seriously regretted them afterward.

I am not saying you should absolutely not tell your brother about yourself, just that I think you should make sure you are being safe, and that you are thinking this through with a clear state of mind. With the emotional turmoil you have been experiencing, I cant imagine you are in a clear state of mind, and thus I recommend you wait.

Since I have been back, you have been one of my favorite posters. You are smart, and you offer many interesting views and insights. Also, I see a bit of myself in you. I would hate for you to land in trouble.
