Isn't the subject of adolescent sexuality a fascinating topic that our society really does need to know more about?

Absolutely.

This topic can make a truly terrifying horror movie all on its own.

Honestly, this is a really good idea. An innocent man gets tortured (emotionally and psychologically, and eventually physically) by cops and politicians and media pundits, and all the people that used to love him and respect him, all on account of society's irrational fear of pedophilia. If only I were a movie director...
