I had the pleasure of overhearing some bits and pieces of a conversation between an Mg couple over lunch - though not enough to make much sense out of what they were saying. The man looked to be in his thirties, and the girl couldn't possibly have been older than fourteen, at most. The exclusive peds here may not have liked her, but she was a beautiful tan blonde. You know, it's funny, I don't really like that look on older girls (16+), but I don't mind it at all on a girl of younger years. She was wearing athletic shorts and fuzzy gray snow boots. It was an odd combination, but no matter, it looked hot.

My first assumption, as it usually is in these cases, was that they were a father and daughter, although there are some more likely possibilities. But what I heard of their conversation would have been very strange for a father and daughter. The daughter was an enthusiastic participant in the conversation, but the man held up his end perfectly well. The strange thing is, they were talking about universities, and working, and other people they knew who were dating, and traveling the country (with that, I'll admit, I could not help thinking of Hum and Lo). They were probably just close relatives or something. They had a good rapport with one another, and seemed able to talk on a mutual level, not like an elder and a youth with the associated generation gap, and power differential.

Anyhow, I would certainly not mind having a traveling companion like that girl. I won't speculate on whether they need two beds or just one. ;-)
