Our enemies are powerful and well-organized

besides being influential and well-entrenched.

What bothers me is the old Jesuit saying: "Give us a child for the first seven years and it is ours for life".
The Jesuits, of course, traditionally had the responsibility for parochial education, and usually still do.

Get to the kids at an early age, poison their minds, and voila'.

It would not be so bad if it were limited to parochial education but it seems that secular society has taken that page from the guidebook.
