I read a good portion of this thread, including much of the discourse between you and Seamus, and you and qtns2di4, but I will read more of it out of fairness to you. Nevertheless, as LGsinmyheart noted in one of his posts, two other posters in the past who have a good degree of knowledge of the Bible made clear the sources where it was strongly implied that Mary was a young adolescent when she became pregnant with the young Jesus, so that was not something that the MAA community just happened to pull out of its ass. Nevertheless, I can understand your desire for accuracy as opposed to "feel good" info that may not be true, but I do think this particular base (Mary's age at the time of the alleged divine conception) has been covered and is without serious doubt.
