He's sure there is. One. He longs for it.

"Yes," says Gimwinkle, "there is.
"Gimwinkle has breathed It in many times," he relates, "cherished It beyond ephemeral memory, beyond idle thought: to essence of being. The air was filled with Her." His mind had stopped all thought but for tasting that air. Touching Her shoulder, stroking the wet hair, grabbing a warm fluffy towel and sensually towelling Her all over. All. Over. There, here, there again...
They walked until he held Her to his chest, Her eyes closed, towel protecting Her from the cooling air. To the next experience that cannot be put into words here, cannot be shared with anyone else but for two lovers who understand.
Oh, the touch of Her skin. The cool wetness of Her hair dampening the cotton sheets. Her eyes staring back at eyes staring at Her. The soap, once lathered in the shower, now but a suggestion of historic event. Ever so faint and elusive yet overpowering the clean sheets beneath.

To continue south would be censored here. Suffice it to say that no amount of time will ever erode one single fraction of second that makes up the memory of someone who had lived through that southern meadow called heaven.
