doin yard work + waiting for a GM to materialize

No news from Kirsten was taken to be a positive sign that she is a rational teen. Her mother returned this afternoon; or, at least I see her SUV parked in front of her home. Kirsten is too young to drive and strikes me as too sensible to risk the wrath of her mom. Of course, Kirsten may or may not be home even though the hour tells me school is over for the day. She might be hanging with friends. Sadly, I'll admit it. I want her to want to hang out with me so I can Barny Google her as she helps rake my yard's rotting debris. Kewl new friend she's found, right?

Alas, so no news also leaves me ratz-a-fratz frustrated. If anyone was watching my antics from behind my home, across the street, or (graces forbid) within Kirsten's home they would certainly wonder at my haphazard show of nozeal for yard work. They'd be well within their rights to form a low opinion of my project which was no more than a veiled excuse to be where I could spy-out her back door whilst hoping K would gayly pop out of said door and give me a neighborly high five over the fence. She was a no show. Indeed, if misery likes company, seriously now, why the heck does it hang around we wishful MAAs-sighs.

Going hunting. I need a new sports bra. Maybe Kirsten would like to shop a-while too? :)
