not exactly Armageddon - but a good bet

So someone has placed a bet that the U.S. will lose it's AAA bond rating, at a time when one rating agency has already lowered the U.S. rating to AA and another has publicly announced that it will do so soon if the U.S. government does not come up with a credible plan for sustainable finances.

The surprising thing is not that this investor has made this bet, but that more investors have not done so.
