I don't find that behaviour strange - she looked in your eyes (kids and other sensitives pick up everything from the eyes) and saw that you Really liked her. Maybe she even picked up on the fact that the two of you could potentially have lots of fun together especially if the two of you were alone in each other's company. Consider yourself blessed: if a little girl really likes you, everything is right in the world.
