Well recently I had a relatives birthday party to go to. At the party were people from the husband's side (not related to me)of the family. Among them was a beautiful 8 (soon to be 9!) year old girl. Let's call her "G". I have seen her before but I was only on a first name basis. Exchanging greetings and farewells and the typical smiles you give to acquaintances. That wasn't going to fly anymore! She was too beautiful to just keep our relationship at that.

So I decided to occasionally talk to G or ask her questions. At first she was just giving one word answers and stuff. Oh she was shy but I always caught her staring at me. So I knew that she at the least thought I was good looking and didn't mind me talking to her. So I'm playing with my little cousins and she started to play with them too. Then she just starts talking to me about the different toys. Looks like she had to work up her own courage!

We were talking about the toys and My Little Pony (kind of a Brony but ONLY because of my relative with Asperger's Syndrome... he's 25 and loves the show haha and I watch it with him and talk about it with him). Then there was a little silent period and G says, "I can't wait until next week." Of course I ask her why? She tells me about her cheer-leading competition and if she wins she can travel to different places to compete. I got pretty excited for her. That'd be such a great experience. I told her how awesome it was and that I hope she wins! That's when she shared her dream of being a cheer-leader for the NFL! I told G she should definitely try to do it but to remember that only a certain number of girls get picked. She understood.

G was a fun little girl making jokes and talking about all kinds of different things. I always noticed kids in general love when an adult actually listens to them and is legitimately interested in their lives and interests. There is SO much more to being a paedophile than the sexual aspect. I wish more people would see that.

Toward the end of the night G tells me about her birthday that is coming up. She is inviting this girl that she thinks might give her an attitude. If the girl does she is going to have to go home! Now here comes a funny part. G was trying to get her mom to show me some pictures of her on her mom's camera. Instead G's mom was showing my Aunt. So G says, "No not her show him!" Then her mom says, "Be quite G you are flirting." You should have seen the blushing on G's face! It was the cutest thing ever! Of course she was flirting! Most girls of any age can't resist me! Haha

All in all it was an awesome night!
