This topic is the whole reason I joined GC, too bad it's buried in the archives now where no one will ever see.

Crowley was a genius and Levay not so much.
Thelema means Love.
Satanism doesn't mean love. Satan loves bringing harm to children that is what real satanism is. A lot of people will call themselves "satanists" because the romanticize in the idea of going against "other religions".
Real satanists are not nice people. If you are a nice person and you call yourself a satanist, hey that's cool, whatever floats your boat. But anybody who knows anything about Satan and Lucifer will just perceive you as silly.

Whenever you hear about a child being raped and chopped up and stuffed into a garbage can... that's Satanism.
Charles Manson was in league with Satan, Levay, not so much.
