Being an adult is not as cool as it looked

I think being a kid is cool. I like how with little kids they hurt themselves somehow, like falling down or w/e, and if they've hurt their hand you give their hand a kiss and that makes it all better. I wish real life was like that. Awww you hurt yourself? Here let me give you a kiss and a hug, there all better.

I also think it's unfair the way adults portray adulthood to kids/teens. I remember being 13 and feeling like shit and telling myself I just had to wait until I was 18. Then I'd be free and be able to do the things I want, then I'd be able to figure this life out. Which is ridiculous in hind-sight but I guess it's better to believe things will get better at some paticular date rather than having to deal with a bunch of BS that you don't have any control of because you're to young to be able to make any real decisions.

A lot of kids really believe that somehow being an adult gives them the answers, but really, being an adult is just a lot of responsibilities and everyone pretending like they know what the hell they're doing. Whether they really do or not.
