As offensive and disrespectful as that is, I have to laugh at the idea that kids have an innate need to do what adults say. I've never encountered a child who had this 'innate need', and that especially includes my own children! =)

Not surprised they told you you would eventually 'abuse her'; the 'ticking time bomb' theory is well loved by the masses...
