The title of your organization is an offense to any Boy or Girl Lover. Even if were to refer to the "mental health community" aren't you smart enough to see how Boy and Girl Lovers may very well interpret the meaning of the title?

The first time I visited the site years ago I quickly learned and interpreted the title as refering to MHPs and as a GL wasn't offended by it.

There are many CLs involved and who have attended our workshops who don't seem particularly offended by it either.

I would never say a name change was under serious consideration as in all honesty we've had bigger things to deal with such as the symposium we had this past summer.

I'm sorry you feel so offended by the title, but I wish all CLs could see past that.

you and others obviously insist upon keeping this hated title? Why? If you really want to influence Boy and Girl Lovers to support you, why do you persist in throwing this hated title in our faces?

I find it's really only been a small handful of people that absolutely hate that title. We already do have the support of many boy lovers and girl lovers. I sincerly hope that one day you might be one of them, even if we still haven't got around to changing the name.
